- Neutralizes the effect of harmful metabolic acids
Is it baking soda abrasive for my teeth?
It has an intrinsic low-abrasive nature and is significantly less abrasive than cleaning agents such as chalk and silica that are found in most commercial toothpaste -all that glitters is not gold, reading labels is important!👌
How can I use baking soda in my dental routine?
- As a toothpaste.
- After flossing, mix equal parts baking soda and water in a small bowl until you’ve created a paste. Brush your teeth with the baking soda paste for 2-3 minutes and then thoroughly rinse with water.
Aside note: Regina, my grandma, was the first and the last human being on earth that I ever saw using baking soda outside the kitchen. When staying at hers for holidays, she would use the bathroom facing my bed, and I would see her calmly brushing her teeth with it.
