It’s 10am in the morning and I am comfortably sitting in the local café. Whilst I start browsing on the bookshelf in front of me, a book title catches my eye: “The body” by Bill Bryson. In a digital era and with my laptop in front of me, I stalk the author online before making a physical move. Bill is a storyteller of books on travel, who switched to writing about science.

How teeth can be connected to organs? – Although it’s not as well-known, there’s a lot of research behind this approach, much of it anchored in ancient Eastern medicine. If you look at this interactive tooth-organ chart, you can see how each one of your teeth is connected to one of your organs. This means two things. First: when an organ or system becomes diseased or infected, the associated tooth most likely will express some type of symptom as well.
