Pick of the week 2!

Protagonist: Bamboo Interdental brushes

Today is all about these small sticks and the common questions that we all have

What is an Interdental Brush?

“Interdental” means between the teeth. An interdental brush is designed to help you clean the sides of your teeth and between your teeth no matter how tight or wide the space.

Why interdental brushes are good for me?

Interdental brushes aren’t just for dislodging food wedged between your teeth. Regular use will keep your mouth healthy and prevent gum inflammation and cavities.

When is it best to use these brushes?

Before brushing your teeth

It will break up the plaque between the teeth to make it easier for the brush to remove.

As we normally rinse our mouths after using these interdental brushes, if we use them after we brush our teeth, we will accidentally get rid of the toothpaste which is still doing it’s job!

Why bamboo and not plastic?

Bamboo has antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is also known as “the green gold” since it is a very sustainable and ecological material that is biodegradable unlike plastic. It takes a great number of years for plastic to biodegrade and is the main source of pollution everywhere throughout the world.
